Shaving is one of those milestones in a young man's life. You somehow cannot wait until you have to shave but then you realize it is for life and you sorta get tired of it in hurry. I have switched between a safety razor and an electronic razor now for about 30 years. Using the one that is the most comfortable on my face at the time. Sometimes, as many know, I did not shave much at all. Not trying to grow a beard but just not shaving.
For about 8 years now I have been using an electronic one when I use one. When I started up again with the electric I noticed while emptying the razor head out that my beard trimmings then had a Salt and Pepper look to it. In comparison to the darker trimmings of my youth.
Yesterday I noticed that the trimmings I was cleaning out was a less Salt and Peppery and a bit more Ashes like. :) Since recently I have been trying to shave every day or two then I have not let my beard grow out much so I could not see what color I was obtaining. Apparently it is much more gray this year than last.
Just another sign post saying I am still aging and the well earned grayed is still coming.
